Ethik is proud to announce that it has been recognized as one of the "100 Companies Championing Women in Utah" by Inspire in Utah, an initiative from the Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity (GOEO).
The list highlights companies making significant efforts to support and promote women in the workplace, as well as advocating for gender equality and diversity.
"We are thrilled to receive this recognition from the Governor’s office," said Melissa Sevy, Founder and CEO of Ethik. "At Ethik, we believe that a diverse and inclusive workplace is not only the right thing to do, but it also makes good business sense. We are committed to fostering an environment where everyone can thrive and reach their full potential."
Ethik not only empowers women, but it also enables companies to move the needle on global poverty by purchasing corporate gifts and goods sustainably crafted by brilliant makers from around the world. Since Ethik’s inception, over 2,600 artisans–including human trafficking survivors, widows, and single mothers–have received dignified work.
"We are proud to be part of Utah's vibrant business community, and we will continue to champion diversity and inclusion both within our company and in our industry," said Sevy.
Inspire in Utah’s "100 Companies Championing Women in Utah" list recognizes companies that have demonstrated a commitment to advancing women's careers and advocating for gender equality in the workplace. The companies on the list were chosen based on various criteria, including the number of women in leadership roles, employee benefits and policies that support work-life balance, and initiatives to promote diversity and inclusion.
Ethik is honored to be among the companies recognized on this prestigious list and will continue to work towards creating a more equitable workplace for all of its employees.
