Project: Medical Blue Wrap

With blue wrap as one of the largest culprits of waste within healthcare, we have collaborated with refugee seamstresses in Salt Lake City who are part of our Free Women artisan group to design functional, quality products that keep this unique material from the landfill and give it a second life.

We retrieved the blue wrap from the hospitals and created various products for their employee and donor gifting including fanny packs, crossbody bags, duffle bags, and toiletry cases. The products created a hyper-local and truly circular economy while employing local refugee women.
