Through the work of Starfish Project, survivors of human trafficking and exploitation experience freedom, establish independence and develop careers. This program provides a support system where women are able to financially sustain themselves by making jewelry, earning fair compensation, and receiving training in literacy, computers, and other life skills.

Starfish Project has established the only safe house and training facility for women escaping exploitation in their city of over 20 million, and has employed over 160 women. With each purchase, companies partner with Starfish Project to visit brothels in Asia and invite women to begin a new life as jewelry-makers, accountants, photographers, leaders, and entrepreneurs.
